Graduation ceremony

About 300 PhD students defend their thesis in Bourgogne-Franche-Comté each year.

In June 2026, the Doctoral College and the institutions organized a ceremony in honor of the 2025 graduates.

A ceremony was held in Dijon on June 5 and another in Besançon on June 9 to celebrate the doctors from the 5 institutions in Bourgogne-Franche-Comté accredited to award the highest diploma.
